Perhaps the tradition of elders'-wisdom ...Nice! Perhaps the tradition of elders'-wisdom sharing could be evolved to inform our political leaders. 'The Council of Wise Elders,' if you will, would include wisdom from across the spectrum, discuss and distill perspectives on policy decisions, past and future, and provide them in a small council dialogue with leaders (cabinet members, even elected officials as high as the POTUS. Am I naive? In the current climate and administration, of course, this is laughable. But the winds of change are again blowing.
